TRIP JUNE 18- 22, 2010

Took the kids to Busch Gardens and had fun!  Nothing grander than spending time with the kids...
Tammy and her friend were in NYC for a concert on June 19.  They toured the city on June 18, 19 and 20 prior to returning home... 
They had fun....  and I had fun with the kids!  :-)
On June 18, Logan started running fever and stayed fevered all day June 19.  Took him to the hospital and he has strep...
My throat is starting to hurt...  Went to the hospital myself June 22...  Feeling horrible....

ANNIVERSARY, GRADUATIONS, MOVING

Well, today we went to eat with Tammy. It was her anniversary (13 years) and Russ isn't home. We went to Plaza Azteca. Not the best choice but it was her day! It was either at a Mexican Restaurant which we all like or it would have had to be one of the following that we couldn't decide on: Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or Cracker Barrel.

After we ate, we went to see Abbey Jean as she graduated from 5th grade! She is going to be a middle schooler next year, however, where they are moving, she will be in a school that has pre-K through 8th and it will be on-base...

Hanah finished 5th grade on May 28th in Summerville, SC. She can say that she is 8 months younger than Abbey but she finished 5th grade sooner!!! She, however, started school in August! Abbey is still in school and won't finish until June 17th... That is the pits for those transferring with jobs and military to different parts of the nation... Seems Virginia goes to school so much longer than everyone else. Middle of June and so many get out the end of May. 

We enjoyed our day!!! Great family time...

Marvin went to pick Chris up from work and found that he was at the company clinic. He'd smashed his fingers... He is on limited duty and nothing broken...just swollen....

STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN AT BGW June 13, 2010

We went to Busch Gardens in the afternoon and Chris, Matt, Abbey and Hanah all went to ride the roller coasters, Marvin and Logan went to play at Dragon Land and let Logan get wet. Tammy and I went to see some concerts. We saw Francesca Batastelli and Bldg 429, then a thunder shower had us leave briefly. We went back and saw Steven Curtis Chapman and were joined by Marvin, Logan and Elizabeth (a friend of our family).
Steven Curtis Chapman really has a great testimony and he has a concert that includes prayer and thanksgiving... Very touching and sweet spirit.....

LOGAN IS 4!!!! June 12, 2010

We had a great week-end... We aren't having Logan's birthday party until the end of the month so we took him to the beach on his birthday and enjoyed ourselves. We rode bikes and played in the sand. We had so much fun riding the bikes and walking in the sand till we couldn't feel the legs the next day!!!

TRAVELING WITH THE KIDS June 6, 2010

Hanah, Logan and I traveled from Summerville, SC to home... We stopped to get gas and two helicopters pulled up! One was so very close...

I was at Aaron and Ivy's and we all went bowling.  Fun!  The kids really enjoyed themselves...
